Short biography of Prabhas

Indian film actor Prabhas was born on October 23, 1979 in Madras, India.His birth name is Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju. He have worked in Telugu and Hindi films. He is best known for the title role in S. S. Rajamouli epic film Baahubali. It was a super hit movie. His father is a producer U. Suryanarayana Raju and nephew of Telugu actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju. Prabhas graduated from Sri Chaitanya College, Hyderabad in B.Tech.

In 2002, Prabhas made his screen debut with Telugu drama film Eeswar. He made guest appearance in Hindi film Action Jackson. He have worked in many films like Varsham (2004), Chakram (2005), Chatrapathi (2005), Billa (2009), Darling (2010), Mr. Perfect (2011), Mirchi (2013), Saaho (2019). Prabhas played in epic film Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and reprised his role in its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017).

Prabhas is the brand ambassador for the new Mahindra TUV300 car. He has won award the state Nandi Award for Best Actor, for his role in the film Mirchi. He is the first south Indian actor to have his wax sculpture at Madame Tussaud wax museum.
