American singer, model, former actress and songwriter Taylor Michel Momsen (born July 26, 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri, US. Her younger sister is an actress popularly known as Sloane Momsen. After elementary school she joined the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan for high school and graduated.

At the age of 2, Momsen was signed with Ford Models. In 1997, at the age of 3 she began acting in commercial for Shake n Bake. She played her breakout role of Cindy Lou Who in Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas in 2002. Taylor played Gretel in Hansel and Gretel and Alexandra, the Presidents daughter, in Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams in 2002. She starred as Molly in the Walt Disney Pictures film Underdog and as Jennifer in the movie Paranoid Park in 2007.

Her modeling career began in June 2008 at the age of 14, signing to IMG Models and also was the face of British fashion chain New Look. At the age of 15, she appeared on the cover of Page Six Magazine in 2009, appeared on the February 2010 cover of Seventeen, on the cover of FHMs March 2012 edition and made her cover debut for Maxim in the November 2013 issue. She was ranked #29 in FHM 2012 Hot 100 issue.

At the age of 7, Taylor recorded the song Christmas, Why Cant I Find You?. She recorded the songs One Small Voice and Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer for the compilation album Schools Out! Christmas in 2002.
